libipathverbs1 software package provides Userspace driver for QLogic InfiniBand HCAs, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libipathverbs1
libipathverbs1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libipathverbs1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libipathverbs1 *
You will get with libipathverbs1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
